Both products have the same finish, but we have reformulated our Smoothing Base Coat to make the end result even more effective! As well as filling in any ridges, our Active Smooth will strengthen your nails more than our Smoothing Base Coat. Also, while you could wear our Smoothing Base Coat under a Green™ nail polish, our Active Smooth is an all-in-one product, so it cannot be applied as a base coat.
