How many coats of polish should I apply?Updated 6 months ago
You should apply 1 layer of base coat, 2 or maximum 3 thin coats of colour and 1 layer of top coat. The best way to obtain a thin coat of polish (including base and top coat) is to scrape the brush stick against the inside neck of the bottle to remove any excess product.
Then wipe it from one side of the brush. You should be left with a small drop on the tip of the brush! Use one drop of polish for each finger.
Note that each polish has a different texture because of its pigmentation. The thickness of the polish varies depending on the colour; some polishes are easier to apply once you've worked this out.
