In a recent study on exposure to UV lamps used to dry gel nail varnishes, the French Academy of Medicine recommended applying sunscreen 20 minutes before each manicure. 

Rest assured:
Firstly, because these recommendations are based on studies showing high frequency of use, over several years, with highly powerful UV lamps (in excess of 48 watts) and long exposure times (20 to 40 minutes a day in the last study cited). 
If you follow these recommendations and respect the curing times, you can continue to use our LED lamps safely for your Green Flash manicures. Our lamps don't exceed 36W for exposure times ranging from 5 to 9 minutes. Moreover, the exposure times and UV power in the study are far superior to those of our LED lamps for consumer use ✅
